Faisal got injured while playing football, and his case presented unique challenges.<\/p>\n
ACL surgeries usually involve using a tendon from the back of the leg to replace the damaged ligament, which can weaken the hamstring and impact a child\u2019s growth. This made it a tough choice for Faisal’s family. The medical team explained the potential long-term effects on Faisal’s mobility. To protect his son’s development, Faisal\u2019s father selflessly offered to donate a tendon from his own leg, ensuring Faisal’s hamstring muscles remained strong and allowing him to grow without complications.<\/p>\n
