Taj Haider Bridge Opens to Karachi Commuters

Karachi commuters now have a smoother route with the Taj Haider Bridge Karachi commuters can use daily. The bridge, which was inaugurated recently, improves traffic flow and reduces congestion. Sharjeel Inam Memon, Sindh’s Transport Minister, announced the opening and noted that the bridge includes dedicated lanes for buses and cyclists. This step supports Karachi commuters while the city continues its urban transport improvements.

Bridge opened for one-way traffic

The Taj Haider Bridge is rolling out in style—literally! For the first ten days, it’s a one-way street, giving everyone a chance to get used to the new route. Memon shared that this is just the beginning, as the old Jam Sadiq Bridge is on its way out and will soon be replaced by a bigger, better structure.

Dedicated lanes for a smoother ride

Constructed under the watchful eye of the transport department, the bridge comes packed with dedicated lanes for public transport and cyclists. That means safer, faster, and more efficient commutes for everyone—no more weaving through traffic or dodging buses!

Karachi’s upgrade mission continues

Memon made it clear that Karachi is a top priority for the provincial government. With people flocking to the city for work and healthcare, the leadership of the Pakistan Peoples Party is pushing all departments to keep the city moving and improve life for everyone. The Taj Haider Bridge is just the latest step in making Karachi a better place to live and travel.
