Sitara-e-Imtiaz is the third highest civil honorary award of Pakistan. President of Pakistan, Dr. Arif Alvi conferred Pakistan’s civil awards on 135 citizens as well as foreign nationals on Pakistan Day i.e. March 23, in recognition of excellence and gallantry in their respective fields.
In this ceremony, Babar Azam, Captain of Pakistan Cricket Team was also awarded with the Sitara-e-Imtiaz and he became the youngest Pakistani to receive Sitara-e-Imtiaz.
He then posted a lovely picture with his parents, which obviously was loved by people.

The prestigious Sitara-e-Imtiaz award has been granted to numerous individuals from diverse fields in recognition of their outstanding contributions to Pakistan.
These honorees include media personality Fakhar-e-Alam, actor Behroze Sabzwari, and journalist Nadeem Malik.

Other noteworthy recipients of the award are Muhammad Afzal Javed and Zafarulah Khan for their services to the country, Dr. Saeed Akhtar and Dr. Sharif Malik for their exceptional work in the field of medicine, and Mahfoozur Rehman for his achievements in the field of education.
Late Saghar Siddiqui, Shama Khalid, and Ziauddin were also posthumously conferred the Sitara-e-Imtiaz award for their contributions to poetry, art, and journalism, respectively.
The award ceremony also recognized the efforts of several other individuals in public service, social work, and art, including Syed Murataz Mahmood, Imdadullah Bosal, Mirza Ishtiaq Baig, Lt Gen Noman Zakaria, Major General Muhammad Idris Dastgir, Brigadier Salman Rashid Hussain, Muhammad Iqbal Khan, Asim Ali Khan, Samina Chagali, Dr. Amir Malik, Tahir Rai, Riazuddin Sheikh, and Tariq Mahmood.
