The Pakistan Super League (PSL) officially unveiled the artist lineup for its 11th edition, confirming that pop icon Atif Aslam and vocal powerhouse Aima Baig will lead the tournament’s upcoming anthem. Titled “Bat Pe Khelenge” (or “Beat Pe Khelenge”), the track was teased as the centerpiece of a “new era” for the league. The announcement, shared across official social media platforms on March 18, 2026, introduced a diverse group of musicians who will join the veteran stars to create a multi-genre sound for the 2026 season.
In a significant departure from previous years, the Sabri Sisters were announced as part of the ensemble, marking their debut in the PSL musical lineup. Known for leading Pakistan’s first all-female qawwali troupe, Saman and Anamta Sabri are expected to bring a soulful Sufi influence to the anthem. Joining them is the breakout rapper Daniya Kanwal, ensuring that the Urdu rap trend continues to be a core part of the tournament’s identity.
This mix of pop, traditional Sufi, and contemporary rap appeared to be a direct response to fan feedback. In previous seasons, critics—including franchise owners like Ali Tareen—had called for more artistic diversity and the inclusion of fresh talent rather than relying solely on established names.

The 11th edition of the PSL is scheduled to begin on March 26, 2026, and will run until May 3. This year marked a major milestone for the league, as it expanded to an eight-team format with the addition of two new franchises: Pindiz and the Hyderabad Houston Kingsmen. The opening match is set to take place
at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium, featuring defending champions Lahore Qalandars against the new Hyderabad side.
With the PSL anthem reportedly hitting the airwaves by March 20, the buzz among both cricket and music enthusiasts is at its peak. This marks Atif Aslam’s second time headlining the official song, following his successful run with “Agay Dekh” in Season 7. As the league prepares to host matches across six cities—including first-time venues in Faisalabad and Peshawar—”Bat Pe Khelenge” is positioned to be the high-energy soundtrack for Pakistan’s biggest sporting event of the year.
