Sudan’s current generation of youth are built different. People are no longer afraid to step outside and take part in the rest of the world. Our very own communities now have content creators, influencers, and bloggers that we all keep up with daily no matter where they are.
Hudaleena Lutfi is a special content creator that has been capturing our hearts since April 2021, quickly changing the narrative online around influencers and spreading positivity ever since.
Having recently moved from Khartoum to Canada on a new journey overseas, Hudaleena reflected with us on how she has taken her baby steps into the world of content creation.
“I have always had a public account and have been online since 2015, but I did not post anything regularly. I used to post quotes, Islamic reminders, and personal posts here and there. I didn’t know I wanted to create content, I just loved sharing since day one.”
She even became a thrift shop owner!

Having been inspired to open the first thrift shop of its kind in Sudan, Hudaleena quickly began to bless audiences by advertising and sharing her store – leading people to change their perspectives around purchasing second hand items – even wedding dresses – for less.
And just from there, the 3,000 supporters of her small shop began to follow Hudaleena’s journey of blogging, cooking live recipes, posting genuine daily stories, and even sharing marriage advice alongside her husband, Mohammed.

“My goal is to inspire people to live their true selves because I didn’t see myself online. I couldn’t find someone who is hijabi, someone who posts without a filter and is real, sharing anything and everything.”
Hudaleena shared with us the difficulties in being a female content creator sometimes, and about the harassing messages she’s received online from followers on the internet who have felt entitled to share opinions on her lifestyle, dress and speech.

Although sometimes the internet can be harsh, Hudaleena shared the secret of why she kept at it!
My followers are definitely the reason I stay motivated and on track
Although I may not have a lot of followers, I have managed to create a community and safe space for me and others on my platform where we can openly share valuable insights about life that everyone can relate and connect with ♥️
Hudaleena is one of the content creators in Sudan who continues to build a community without expecting anything in return. Her sole purpose is to keep spreading love.
Lastly, we asked her to leave a special message to all those reading!
“Don’t be afraid to start what you always wanted to start, don’t be afraid to be yourself no matter what the consequences are. Be true to yourself. that’s all that matters.”
