Kuwaitis planning a trip to Thailand, take note! Starting December 1, 2024, you’ll need to apply for an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) before your journey. This new requirement is part of Thailand’s effort to enhance border security and streamline entry for visitors, including those from Kuwait.
The ETA process is completely digital and free of charge, making it easy for Kuwaiti travelers to comply with the new regulations. Whether you’re heading to Thailand for vacation, shopping, or exploring the beautiful beaches, the ETA will allow you to enter the country for up to 60 days, with the option to extend your stay for an additional 30 days.

Kuwaitis can apply for the ETA online via Thailand’s official e-Visa website, ensuring a smooth and convenient process before their trip. Plus, with automated immigration clearance gates, you’ll experience faster and more efficient entry once you arrive.
This new system will launch as a pilot program in December 2024 and be fully operational by June 2025. So, if Thailand is on your travel list, make sure you secure your ETA to enjoy a hassle-free vacation.
