Kuwait To Establish a Committe for Revoked Nationality Complaints!
A new decree will allow an investigation into these decisions
After careful consideration, the Kuwaiti Cabinet has decided to launch a committee, with the sole purpose of responding to complaints from those who have had their nationalities revoked, investigating their cases and taking necessary actions. The committee, once launched will last a year, subject to extension by the Kuwaiti Cabinet. Every decision this committee takes will be final, and local authorities will therefore have to abide by it.
This committee will explain how to submit appeals via governmental channels and will submit their findings by the end of its one-year term.

The Cabinet also announced that 41-woman lawyers with revoked nationalities will be allowed to practice law in Kuwait, provided they’re still treated like Kuwaiti Citizens. This decision was made in collaboration with the Kuwaiti Ministry of Justice and the Kuwaiti Bar Association.
