In the wake of a heartbreaking accident that claimed the lives of Kuwaiti resistance hero Mazid Farhan Al-Bati and his sons Ali and Ahmed, Kuwait’s Ministry of Public Works has launched a significant renovation project on Al-Abdali Road.
The tragic incident served as a sobering reminder of the importance of road safety, prompting swift action from the government to
prevent future tragedies.
Minister of Public Works, Dr. Noura Al-Mashaan, announced the launch of major maintenance works across the country, with Al-Abdali Road among the key priorities. The project is part of eighteen large-scale tenders spread across all six governorates, focusing on enhancing the performance and safety of Kuwait’s highways and internal roads.
This upgrade aims to not only improve road conditions but also ensure that critical routes like Al-Abdali—which connects the north of Kuwait to major infrastructure—are safer for all who travel them.
