{"id":1567,"date":"2020-06-18T11:44:07","date_gmt":"2020-06-18T07:44:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lovindubai.com\/?p=28557"},"modified":"2020-06-18T11:44:07","modified_gmt":"2020-06-18T07:44:07","slug":"uae-issued-travel-guidelines-for-passengers-travelling-for-the-summer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lovin.co\/kuwait\/en\/latest\/uae-issued-travel-guidelines-for-passengers-travelling-for-the-summer\/","title":{"rendered":"UAE Issues Travel Guidelines For Passengers Travelling Out Of The Country For The Summer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>UAE Issues Travel Guidelines For Passengers Travelling Out Of The Country For The Summer<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The UAE Government has released a set of guidelines for all residents and citizens who wish to travel abroad from June 23, which shows that there will be NO need for\u00a0re-entry forms.<\/p>\n<p>This announcement comes after the UAE declared that it&#8217;s prepping to FULLY open up its borders in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n<p>Although, travellers must\u00a0sign a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mofaic.gov.ae\/en\/Services\/Twajudi\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Twajudi<\/a> form\u00a0before leaving the UAE to be sure that they meet all requirements in the UAE and the country they&#8217;re planning to visit.\u00a0<em>(Adults over 70 will not be permitted to travel).<\/em><\/p>\n<p><!--infeed--><\/p>\n<h2>The countries that citizens and residents are allowed to travel to will be based on the countries\u2019 practices and will be in accordance to 3 categories:<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Low risk:\u00a0<\/strong>Residents and citizens are allowed to travel to these countries<\/li>\n<li><strong>Medium risk:<\/strong>\u00a0Emiratis are allowed to travel to these countries for medical treatment, to visit first-degree relatives or on official diplomatic trips<\/li>\n<li><strong>High risk:\u00a0<\/strong>UAE citizens and residents are not allowed to travel to these countries<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">NCEMA: Travel to select destinations will be permitted based on a classification system. The countries that citizens and residents are allowed to travel to will be based on the countries\u2019 practices and will be in accordance to 3 categories.<\/p>\n<p>&mdash; NCEMA UAE (@NCEMAUAE) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/NCEMAUAE\/status\/1273312597157253121?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">June 17, 2020<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<h2>From pre-travel check-up, and health insurance t0 self-quarantine, here are all the steps that resident&#8217;s who wish to travel MUST adhere to:<\/h2>\n<h3><strong>Before leaving the UAE\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Register with the Tawajudi service<\/li>\n<li>Get tested for COVID-19, with test results received through the Al Hosn app and not exceeding 48 hours<\/li>\n<li>Have international health insurance<\/li>\n<li>Those over the age of 70 and suspected cases are not allowed to travel, and those will chronic illnesses are being discouraged from travelling<\/li>\n<li>Those with a temperature of over 37.8 degrees Celsius are not allowed to travel<\/li>\n<li>Pledge to self-quarantine upon return and not to visit other countries<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3><strong>During the trip<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Follow the country\u2019s COVID-19 guidelines<\/li>\n<li>Go to the nearest medical centre if you are experiencing symptoms<\/li>\n<li>Inform the UAE Embassy if you have tested positive for COVID-19<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3><strong>Upon returning to the UAE<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Wear a mask at all times<\/li>\n<li>Have a travel file including all details of your current health status<\/li>\n<li>Download the Al Hosn app<\/li>\n<li>Undergo the 14-day quarantine period.
