Muscatawis, rejoice! The largest flagpole in the country is currently under construction near the Ministries District in Al Khuwait. It currently stands at an impressive height of 50 meters, with 76 meters waiting to be built before its unveiling for Oman National Day.
When completed, the flagpole will stand at 126 meters and become the focal point of an 18,000-square-meter development dedicated to business, entertainment, and well-being. This project represents a significant milestone in creating the tallest flagpole of its kind.
But that’s not all! This flagpole will feature a plaza, expansive lawn, walkways, a skate park, a cycling path, and a cafeteria as well as various entertainment and sports facilities. As per its main contractor, Pacific Blue, this project is set to transform the area into a vibrant community hub. The adjacent business bay will host different brands and businesses, while the surrounding development will provide leisure and family entertainment options.
