Is Your Body Immune To COVID-19? A New Study Will Target ALL Abu Dhabi Residents To Find Out
This is the first study of its kind in the region and it will target all Abu Dhabi residents to understand their immunity against COVID and to control its spread.
It aims to check infection levels, as well as percentages of those who developed sufficient immunity, to identify the percentage of the population who have COVID-19 antibodies over a specific timeframe and to identify the percentage of people who had the virus but didn’t show any symptoms.
Abu Dhabi begins COVID-19 immunity research
Abu Dhabi is also currently conducting the third phase clinical trial for a COVID-19 vaccine and they’re looking for volunteers
The trials are being performed by Abu Dhabi-based G42 Healthcare in cooperation with China’s Sinopharm CNBG and they require up to 15,000 volunteers.
It was previously announced that only participants in Al Ain and Abu Dhabi could join the trials, however, the location requirements have changed and the registration website, 4humanity.ae has listed the new requirement which simply states you must be a UAE resident.
