A special Omani Publications Corner recently opened its doors at the Chechen State Pedagogical University, marking a significant step in cultural exchange. This exciting new hub aims to deepen understanding of Omani heritage and foster stronger ties between the Sultanate and the Russian Federation.
This initiative proudly coincided with the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the Russian Federation. The new corner showcases a diverse collection of books and cultural publications, covering fascinating subjects like literature, language, history, science, media, arts, Islamic studies, geography, and the environment.
The Omani Publications Corner was specifically designed to support non-Arabic speaking students specializing in Omani studies, providing them with invaluable insights into Oman’s rich civilizational and intellectual heritage. This strategic effort seeks to solidify cultural ties between the two friendly nations, paving the way for even greater academic and research collaboration.
In a related cultural exchange, the National Museum’s Learning Centre organized a special program for 180 students from Muscat Governorate schools. This program introduced Omani students to the captivating world of Russian literature through selected literary and artistic works, helping to broaden their intellectual and cultural horizons.
