Police Arrest Three Citizens for Facilitating Illegal Entry of Infiltrators in Al Wusta

The Police Command in the Governorate of Al Wusta has successfully arrested three Omani citizens in the Wilayat of Hima for facilitating the illegal entry of foreign nationals into the country. These individuals were involved in transporting a group of infiltrators in their vehicles, thereby breaching the country’s laws regarding immigration and border security.

Alongside the arrests of the three citizens, thirteen Ethiopian nationals were detained for illegally infiltrating into Oman. These individuals had entered the country without proper documentation, violating the immigration laws of the Sultanate.

The authorities have confirmed that legal procedures are currently being completed, and the case is being handled in accordance with Oman’s strict laws on illegal immigration and smuggling.

This operation highlights the continued efforts of law enforcement in Al Wusta to combat illegal immigration and ensure the safety and security of the region. The authorities are committed to enforcing the law and will take all necessary actions to prevent such incidents in the future.

In a country where border security is a priority, incidents like this are swiftly addressed to maintain control and ensure that such unlawful activities are not tolerated. The case is a reminder of the ongoing challenges faced by the authorities in managing and monitoring illegal entry points into Oman
