10 Photos That Will Make You Fall In Love With Al Baha

Al Baha is probably not the first place that comes to your mind when you speak of Saudi tourism but it probably should be. Nestled high up in the mountains, Al Baha despite a growing interest in it of late still manages to have a vibe as if it were untouched by tourism. The historic towns and watchtowers that dot the landscape add to the aura of the place, and if you haven’t been there yet, we’re pretty sure you’ll be pretty enticed to go there by the end of this.

Don’t forget to bring your camping gear if you want to wake up to sights like this.

The Shada Mountains is not the easiest to get to, but if you do decide to take the plunge then you’ll find yourself amidst one of the kingdom’s best preserved biodiversity hotspots.

Did we mention that there are cave hotels here too? STUNNING!

Imagine sipping tea in an ancient village like this one here.

Driving on the mountain roads here is an experience not to be missed.

The Dhee Ayn village is arguably the most picturesque village in the country. Even if you’re bad with the camera you’ll still end up with wallpaper worthy images.

Ancient villages like this one pictured here lie peppered all over the region.

Yup, that’s a lake high up in the mountains.

Saudi Arabia isn’t just desert and there’s no better place to prove it than Al Baha.
