Saudi Arabia Improved The Most On The World Competitiveness Index And It’s A Great Sign For Businesses

Avatar

Over the past couple of years, Saudi Arabia has reformed the way business is done in the country. It sort of got a push as many giga-projects like NEOM, Red Sea Project, Riyadh Metro, Knowledge Economic City and Qiddiya are set for completion soon. The country is almost overhauling to make them work.

The efforts have clearly paid off as Saudi Arabia climbed 13 places on the 2019 IMD World Competitiveness Yearbook.

Saudi Arabia now ranks as the 26th most competitive country in the world.

The study measures competitiveness on four main factors that include economic performance, government efficiency, business efficiency and infrastructure.
