A Saudi Company Makes A Massive SR13.35 Billion Offer To Buy Chelsea From Its Russian Owner
A Saudi Arabian group-led consortium has surfaced as a potential buyer of Chelsea, claiming to have made the highest proposal so far of £2.7 billion reports the British tabloid The Mirror.
I can confirm Saudi Media Group have made a £2.7bn ($3.5bn) offer to buy Chelsea. Mohamed Alkhereiji is a Chelsea fan and leading a private consortium. No direct government links.

A company called the Saudi Media Group is said to be behind the bid. The Saudi Media Group is a subsidiary of the Engineer Holding Group that’s led by Mohamed Alkhereiji. Many claim Alkhereiji to be a Chelsea fan.
Now, that’s a big plus for the fans of the club, isn’t it? Fans clearly are happy.

Anyway, what’s interesting to note is that Alkhereiji’s company was behind the construction of the new state-of-the-art stadium for Riyadh-based Al Nassr FC. So if this deal does go through considering the sizeable amount they’re offering Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich an upgraded stadium could be in the works.
