ATTN! This GACA Circular Is Important For All Passengers Carrying Zamzam

A circular from the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) dated May 17, 2022, is being extensively shared on social media. According to the circular, Zamzam products are no longer permitted as checked luggage on all flights departing from the kingdom.

The circular, however, has not been tweeted through GACA’s official handle.

The purported circular is addressed to all airlines operating in the kingdom.

Many international media outlets have picked up on this story but an official comment from the authorities is awaited on this.
