Over 120 Killed As Israel Launches ‘Gideon’s Chariots’ Operation In Gaza

At least 120 Palestinians have lost their lives, and over 200 have been injured, following recent Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip, which began last Friday. The Israeli military has ramped up its operations since early Saturday, intensifying the conflict.

Strikes Intensified Across Gaza

In the northern part of Gaza, a strike near the Andalus tower in Gaza city led to injuries among multiple Palestinians. The wounded were quickly taken to Al-Shifa medical complex, where doctors reported that one case was critical, highlighting the severity of the situation.

In southern Gaza, an Israeli drone strike on the Ma’an area, east of Khan Yunis, resulted in two fatalities and four injuries. Another strike in Bani Suhaila, also east of Khan Yunis, caused six deaths and left others wounded, with casualties being transferred to Nasser hospital.

Operation ‘Gideon’S Chariots’ Initiated

The surge in Palestinian casualties coincides with the official expansion of the Israeli army’s military campaign in Gaza, known as operation ‘Gideon’s chariots.’ according to the Israeli military, this operation includes widespread airstrikes and ground operations. The stated aims are to “achieve all war objectives,” including securing the release of detainees and dismantling the Palestinian resistance group Hamas.
