Dozens of children in the Gaza Strip face death as a result of malnutrition. Fadi Al-Zont, a 6-year-old child, one of the victims of Israel’s blockade placed on Gaza, is at imminent risk of death at any time due to malnutrition and dehydration.
The story of Fadi Al-Zant revealed just days after the child’s name, Yazan Al-Kafarna, topped social media following his death due to malnutrition at Abu Youssef Al-Najjar Hospital.
Yazan had fled with his family to Rafah to escape the Israeli bombing, while suffering from cerebral palsy and without access to medicine or food.
A number of social media users and journalists from Gaza are concerned that the tragedy of the child Yazan will be repeated with Fadi Al-Zant, who is still living with his family in the northern Gaza Strip, where the Israeli occupation blocks the entry of medical, food, and humanitarian aids.

Fadi is currently in Kamal Adwan Hospital, suffers from a chest disease that requires a strict diet and medications, neither of which are not available in the entire sector, leading his health to get worse.
One of the Gaza Strip’s photographers shared photos of the young Palestinian Fadi Al-Zant on his social media. Fadi appeared in the photos and his body was extremely thin, to the point that his spine and bones were clearly apparent. He was also crying from hunger and pain, and he appeared to be completely exhausted.
The hashtag “Save Fadi” was launched on social media in an attempt to save him, amid serious worries for his well-being.

There is no longer a safe place in Gaza. Whoever escapes the Israeli occupation’s shells and missiles will face starvation and a lack of medicine and food in the Strip.
The fear of hunger seems to have a greater impact on the lives of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, with citizens dying from malnutrition in the northern Gaza Strip, which is on the verge of famine.
The Gaza Ministry of Health stated on 13th of March that the death toll from malnutrition and dehydration had grown to 27.
