Bella and Gigi Hadid are donating $1M to support Palestinian relief efforts
In support of Palestinian relief efforts, modeling sisters Gigi and Bella Hadid have pledged $1 million, which will be split among four humanitarian organizations with a focus on children and families affected by the ongoing genocide according to one of Bella’s representatives.
The donations come after a series of photographs of Bella at the Cannes Film Festival last month featured her in a red and white dress made of traditional Arabic cloth associated with Palestinian culture.
Four relief agencies will be receiving the donations to provide humanitarian relief to Palestinians in Gaza
The four relief agencies receiving donations from the sisters are Heal Palestine, Palestine Children’s Relief Fund, World Central Kitchen, and United Nations Relief and Works Agency.
The organizations provide humanitarian relief, such as food and medical programs, as well as assistance to displaced families and psychological support amid the ongoing Israeli genocide on the Gaza Strip.
