On Tuesday, Israel bombarded a family house in the Shati refugee camp west of Gaza City, killing 13 Palestinian civilians, including Zuhur Abdul Salam Haniyeh, Ismail Haniyeh’s sister.
Witnesses stated that Israeli planes completely demolished the Haniyeh family home, killing ten family members with the death toll later raised to 13.
The Israeli army stated it had “bombed two houses used by Hamas elements” but did not mention Haniyeh’s family.

On April 10, another Israeli strike killed three of Haniyeh’s sons – Hazem, Amir, and Muhammad – as well as four of his grandchildren while they were driving through the camp. In November, Israeli bombardment also killed Haniyeh’s eldest grandson Jamal and his youngest granddaughter Rua Humam.
Another of Haniyeh’s sisters, Sabah, who has Israeli citizenship and lives in Beersheba, was detained by Israel on April 21, but later released and placed under house arrest.
