Residents across Ras Al Khaimah have been noticing loud sounds over the past hours, with many taking to social media to ask what’s going on.
According to Ras Al Khaimah Government Media Office, these sounds are normal and expected under the current weather conditions affecting the country.

Authorities explained that the sounds are linked to atmospheric changes, including thunder, which can occur during unstable weather conditions like the ones being experienced right now.
So if you’ve been hearing loud noises, there’s no need to worry — it’s part of the weather.
Officials confirmed that if there is any real threat, warnings and instructions will be issued immediately through the National Early Warning System to ensure public safety.
