A Royal Directive for Humanity
Under the watchful eye of His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, the Saqr Humanitarian Ship was given the green light to prepare for its vital mission to the Gaza Strip. Ahmed Rashid Soufa Al Zaabi, Secretary General of the Sheikh Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, shared that these preparations are closely overseen by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Foundation’s Board of Trustees, ensuring everything runs smoothly for the brothers in Gaza. Banners proudly displayed images of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE President, and His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, alongside the UAE flag, symbolizing the nation’s unified spirit of giving.

It was a hive of activity as countless volunteers, both men and women, gathered in a huge hall, rolling up their sleeves to pack essential supplies. Imagine an organized assembly line, with everyone diligently filling white cardboard boxes labeled ‘هدية’ (Gift) and ‘UNITED ARAB EMIRATES,’ complete with the Saqr Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi Charity and Humanitarian Foundation logo. From yummy canned foods and pasta to a whole host of other consumer goods, every box was packed with love and care, highlighting the broad community participation in this heartwarming initiative.
A Ship Full of Hope
This isn’t just any ship; it’s a floating beacon of hope, loaded with a whopping 4,000 tons of essential goodies! We’re talking about everything from much-needed food parcels and hygiene kits to clothing for both children and adults, plus vital medicines. The Saqr Humanitarian Ship is all set to depart from Ras Al Khaimah Port on the 22nd, embarking on a 13-day journey across the waters. Its destination? Al Arish Port in the Arab Republic of Egypt, where these precious supplies will bring much-needed relief and support.
