A Pink Heart-Shaped House In RAK Is Turning Heads
If you’ve ever cruised through Ras Al Khaimah and spotted a house bursting with hearts, you’ve just discovered the legendary Hearts House! This isn’t just any home – it’s a local icon, and its story is as charming as its décor. From glowing hearts at night to a garden full of surprises, this place is pure joy, inside and out.
Dreams sparked in Colorado
Back in 1996, Mohammed Bin Khatir Al Nuaimi took a trip to Colorado, USA, and stumbled upon a cozy wooden home that stole his heart. He snapped a photo, tucked the dream away, and brought it back to AlDhait South, Ras Al Khaimah. Despite everyone saying it would be tough (and pricey!) to build such a house in the UAE, he went for it anyway.
One unique thing he insisted on? A design that lets sunlight move through every room throughout the day, giving the house a warm, glowing feel from sunrise to sunset. Four years later, the Heart House was born, and it’s been turning heads ever since.

A house that glows with love
By day, the Heart House shines with its golden hearts, red arches, and lush gardens. By night, it transforms into a glowing wonderland, with heart-shaped lights and a giraffe statue adding a playful twist.
The garden is a green paradise, complete with fountains that, as Mohammed says, “bring calm to the soul.”
And if you’re lucky, you might spot some mangoes, grapes, guavas, or papayas – all grown right here and shared with friends, family, and visitors!
Hearts everywhere, even on wheels
Mohammed’s love for hearts doesn’t stop at the front door. Step inside and you’ll find heart-shaped lights, décor, and even furniture.
The theme spills outside too – his caravan is decked out with hearts, and he’s always happy to share his house plans with curious fans.
People from all over the world reach out, and Mohammed welcomes everyone, even adding a note on Google Maps inviting visitors to snap photos and enjoy the garden.
The Heart House isn’t just a home – it’s a Ras Al Khaimah treasure, built with love and open arms!
