‘Hoomans’ and their furry friends can now have a doggy’s day out in their very own outdoor park that’s all set to open on February 1 next year in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE.
Called as the ‘Pawsome Park, it is built by the government of Ras Al Khaimah and will be run by the RAK Animal welfare Centre (RAKAWC) in Al Jazeera Al Hamra area.
According to Dr Chenjerai Sigauke, RAKAWC Manager and Head Veterinarian, the aim behind making this park is to give dog owners a space where they can socialise with fellow pet owners.
“The park’s main aim is to provide dog owners with a place where they can take their dogs to play freely and safely away from traffic and without any restrictions. It will also serve as a place where dog owners can socialise and share tips on responsible pet ownership and make new friends.”
All the dog loving people of UAE will enjoy a wide range of facilities in the park, including off-leash areas for dogs to play, a dog walking path, a fully equipped agility park and a swimming pool, that’s spread across 7,000 square metre area.
The charges to access the park have not been announced yet, but it will offer visitors a monthly and yearly membership package, as well as day passes according to their preference.
