Illegal Dubai Markets Have Been Stealing Food From Rubbish Containers And Reselling To Vendors
150 tonnes of fruits, vegetables and meat have been confiscated and seized by Dubai Municipality for being unsuitable for human consumption.
The food stuffs were removed from an illegal market for not being stored at the correct temperatures.
Numerous unlicensed markets in the industrial areas of Dubai are said to collect these items from rubbish containers and then proceed to selling the spoilt food to various vendors.
Recently, numerous raids have been in action to put a stop to the selling of spoilt food
Just last week, a factory in Ras Al Khaimah has been shut down for being caught repackaging and selling expired meat products to the market.
