Ras Al Khaimah is set for a significant expansion in its hospitality sector which, will generate thousands of new jobs by 2030. Currently, the emirate employs 6,000 people in its hotels, but, this number is expected to increase to 25,000 due to a wave of new hotel developments, according to a webinar held for investors and stakeholders.
A major project driving this growth is the Wynn Resort, scheduled to open in 2027. The resort alone is projected to create 7,000 new jobs. To accommodate the influx of workers, the Ras Al Khaimah government is constructing a large housing village for hotel staff. Phase 1 of this project will be completed by April next year, with a larger Phase 2 beginning shortly.

With the emirate’s hotel room inventory expected to triple by 2030, the demand for skilled workers will rise significantly. Although salaries in Ras Al Khaimah are lower compared to Dubai and Abu Dhabi, the lower cost of living makes it an attractive destination for hospitality professionals.
