You Could Literally See Saturn’s RINGS From Jebel Jais Earlier This Week

Avatar

Saturn’s rings could distantly be seen from the UAE’s highest mountain, the Jebel Jais in Ras Al Khaimah on Sunday, August 2 and JINKIESSSSS it looked incredible!!

The unbelievable video was shot by, Rashid bin Aziz Al Shehhi (an Emirati whose content seems to go viral almost every second day!) and it amazingly captured the second-largest planet in the solar system’s distinctive golden hoops. MA.JES.TIC.

BTW… do you know why they called it Saturn? Because it had a nice ring to it🌚

Lol, sorry not sorry!🪐

This video was shot when Saturn was at its closest point to Earth, the next date for this phenomenon will take place on Friday, August 20!

So PLANET out well and keeeep your cameras, telescopes and ultra zoomable lenses ready.

The marvel is known as Opposition. It’s when two celestial bodies appear in opposite directions in the sky.
