Ras Al Khaimah has launched a new Golden Visa program designed to attract and retain top talent in the educational sector. The initiative, announced by the Ras Al Khaimah Department of Knowledge (RAK DOK), offers long-term residency to qualified private school educators who are working and living in the emirate.
The program targets two key groups: school leaders, including principals, vice principals, directors, and heads of departments, as well as teachers. To be eligible for the Golden Visa, applicants must meet specific criteria. Educators must have lived and worked in Ras Al Khaimah for at least three years, hold a relevant advanced degree, and demonstrate a positive impact on school performance.

The application process for the Golden Visa has been organized to make it easier for educators to apply. Applicants will need to submit several documents, including their appointment letter, proof of qualifications, and evidence of their residency and employment in Ras Al Khaimah. Dr. Abdulrahman Al Naqbi, a board member of RAK DOK, expressed that the new program will help establish Ras Al Khaimah as a hub for world-class education. By retaining talented teachers and school leaders, the initiative aims to further enhance student outcomes and the overall quality of education in the emirate.
