JUST In: UAE Opens Flights From India, Pakistan And Four More Countries For Residents Stuck Abroad, Plus Some Exceptions

Fully vaccinated UAE residents in India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Nigeria and Uganda will be permitted to fly back to the UAE from August 5.

All passengers must provide proof of vaccination and it must be 14 days after the second dose of vaccine before they will be permitted to board a flight. The vaccine must be approved here in the UAE.

The tweets outline the categories who will be permitted to travel along with further information for non-vaccinated residents abroad

The tweets added some exceptions, and those working in the medical and education sector who are vaccinated OR unvaccinated will be also permitted to travel, once they secure the correct documents

Also included in the exceptions are students, humanitarian causes, workers in government agencies and people seeking medical treatment here.

All categories must submit a request on the website of the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship to obtain the necessary approvals in addition to vaccination certificates certified by the concerned authorities.

They will be obligated to submit a prior PCR test within (48) hours from the date of departure, provided that the tests are from accredited laboratories, bear a QR Code, and conduct a quick laboratory test before boarding the plane.
