Locals and visitors alike came together to wave the flag high and proud, making it a day to remember.

On November 3, 2023, Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi rolled up in style, waving from his white luxury SUV and greeting everyone with a cheerful ‘Salam Alaikum.’ The community was thrilled to see their ruler out and about, sharing the joy and unity of Flag Day with everyone at the Corniche. The energy was contagious, and the crowd responded with cheers and waves of their own.

Flag Day brought everyone together
The celebration brought together the whole community in a vibrant display of national pride. Women in elegant black abayas carried white flowers and UAE flags, while children dressed in green and red waved their own mini flags with joy. Go-karts painted in the UAE colors added a fun, energetic touch — and a helicopter soaring above the massive flagpole completed the breathtaking scene.
