An alarming tweet shares the distress messages to the police made by residents who were with families at Ras Al Khaimah’s Jebel Jais mountain on Saturday.

The tweet, shared by Samir Alim details the account of more than 500 people who were stranded for 15 hours atop the mountain- following heavy rains that lead to flash flooding.
