Ras Al Khaimah police released information about a crash which occurred on Thursday morning.
The head on collision involving two cars claimed the life of one man with five others sustaining some serious injuries.
The deceased, an Asian man, was a driver in one of the vehicles.
The other individuals involved in the fatal crash, three Asian passengers and two Emirati women, sustained moderate to serious injuries.
They were immediately removed to hospital for assessment and to receive treatment for their injuries.
The two cars were involved in a head on collision which resulted one of the vehicles combusting and was then engulfed in flames, killing the Asian driver.
Brigadier Dr. Mohammed Saeed Al Humaidi, director general of the central operations room at Ras Al Khaimah police urged motorists “not to use roads and streets that are still under construction and have not been formally opened for traffic, because of their lack of planning, and yet they have not been properly prepared for traffic.”
