What was the case about?
The case originally involved allegations that the defendant had assaulted a police officer while under the influence of alcohol. Based on these claims, the initial ruling sentenced the individual to one year in prison. However, the defence challenged the decision, leading the court to reopen and review the case in detail, according to Gulf News.
Court finds weak evidence
After re-examining the case, the court found that the evidence presented was not strong enough to fully support the accusations.
