RAK Records Highest Rainfall In UAE At 244mm During Recent Weather

Ras Al Khaimah witnessed one of the strongest weather conditions recently, after recording the highest rainfall in the UAE at 244mm.

According to the National Centre of Meteorology, this was recorded in Yanas Mountain, making it the highest across the country during the recent weather system.

The weather wasn’t mild. A low-pressure system brought intense cloud formation and heavy rain across different parts of the UAE, with Ras Al Khaimah being one of the most affected areas.
