Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), is all set to rename five metro stations within the next three months, (by the first week of Feb 2021 to be exact) and read up to check if your station will be undergoing the name change.<\/p>\n

This might get a little confusing so let’s break it down:<\/p>\n

  1. Al Fahidi<\/strong> Station on the Green Line will be named Sharaf DG Metro Station<\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. First Abu Dhabi Bank<\/strong>\u00a0will become Umm Al Sheef<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. Noor Bank<\/strong>\u00a0will be called Al Safa<\/strong><\/li>\n
  4. Damac <\/strong>station\u00a0will be renamed Dubai Marina<\/strong><\/li>\n
  5. Nakheel <\/strong>station will change to Al Khail\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The metro stations naming rights initiative offers a fabulous investment opportunity to private firms and organisations in various trading, financial and service sectors in the UAE<\/em><\/h2>\n<\/blockquote>\n

    Abdul Mohsen Ibrahim Younes, CEO of the RTA’s Rail Agency, added that,<\/p>\n

    It enables investors to showcase their names and brands in a vibrant city like Dubai with such a high-profile standing in the business, service, finance and tourist industries.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

    The renaming process involves updating names on the external signs and the smart and E-Systems of the public transport network as well as the voice notice onboard the metro trains.<\/p>\n
