{"id":1375,"date":"2020-08-18T09:45:19","date_gmt":"2020-08-18T05:45:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lovindubai.com\/?p=32776"},"modified":"2020-08-18T09:45:19","modified_gmt":"2020-08-18T05:45:19","slug":"gdrfa-approval-dubai","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lovin.co\/rak\/en\/latest\/gdrfa-approval-dubai\/","title":{"rendered":"CLARIFIED: Residents DO Need GDRFA Approval When Returning Through Dubai"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Following an NCEMA decision last week that said residents would not need an entry permit to return to the UAE, Dubai&#8217;s Supreme Committee of Crisis and Disaster Management clarified that residents are still required to apply for an entry permit through the GDRFA &#8211; Dubai website if you wish to return to DUBAI.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Dubai Media Office shared the latest GDRFA approval update along with the additional requirements for travel<\/h2>\n<p><!--infeed--><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium\"><\/p>\n<h2>All residents must have a COVID-19 negative test along with GDRFA approval<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You need to show the approval and negative COVID-19 test before boarding and on arrival. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All returning residents must download the COVID-19 DXB Smart App. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The mandatory 14 day quarantine is not valid if you present a negative COVID test.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A question still hangs over whether residents from other emirates travelling through Dubai need GDRFA approval.
