Just recently, the 19th Saudi International Wedding Expo kicked off at the Jeddah Hilton Hotel – with more than 2,000 people attending the three-day exhibition.

Organised by Princess Moudi Bint Nasser bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud, the event was said to be one of the largest as over 160 local and international companies took part to showcase their latest bridal gear. 

The expo was simply everything and more

With weddings being one of the largest businesses in the Gulf, the expo had offered absolutely everything from bridal fashion to beauty, decoration and even jewellery from designers such as Amal Al-Anqawi, Lutfi Muamna, Rana Riri and Mona Rihan.

Seven fashion shows took place each day

Aside from staging various breath-taking fashion shows each day, Saudi designers have taken it upon them to also conduct workshops for younger fashion students and designers.

In favour of the Kingdom’s development

Not only was the expo successful, but Princess Moudi emphasised that Saudi women designers are important figures for the Kingdom’s development and that we should continue to encourage them to realise their capabilities and dreams.
