HRH Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Al Saud received warm applause after a humourous story he told at a formal dinner in the Elysée palace on Tuesday. In a video clip shared on YouTube, MBS tells French President Emmanuel Macron and other guests a story about US former presidents George Bush and George W. Bush giving him barbecue sauce, just in case he didn’t like the French cuisine. 

MBS’ joke was so well-received, it even received applause from guests

“A few days ago, I was in Texas, meeting President Bush, father and son, and they knew I was coming to Paris and will have dinner, so they gave me barbecue sauce. They said if you don’t like the French food, you use the barbecues sauce.” MBS then ended his story with a smile, leaving a very good atmosphere just in time for the dinner.
