Foreigners Now Want To Add Saudi To Their Bucket List Thanks To This Photographer’s Shot Of Mada’in Saleh

Avatar

Australian aerial photographer, Gab Scanu, visited the Kingdom in February and did just as he does in most of his travels- created magic using a camera. Well, in this case, a drone. Scanu’s photos of the UNESCO World Heritage site Mada’in Saleh are so amazing that it turned Saudi doubters into potential Saudi visitors.

And why not?

Tourist visas are already being rolled out this month anyway.

Check out his seriously cool photos, and the people’s response…

He visited unexplored oceans and ancient deserts during his trip

He captioned this photo…

“Sky high!!! I’ve been spending the last week exploring Saudi Arabia! Flying from cities, to ancient deserts, to the middle of unexplored oceans with @gatewayksa I can’t wait to show you all the incredible imagery we’ve captured. Can’t wait for more adventures over the next few days!”

…Checked out the historic Al-Ula

This is breathtaking

Just beautiful.

Little islands? Nope..

If you thought these were mini islands, think again. In his photo caption, Scanu said these were ancient coral gardens spotted throughout the middle of the ocean.

The Red Sea in all its glory

And last but not least…

Foreigners are now starting to take notice of Saudi’s incredible beauty and history

Many of the comments found on Gab Scanu’s ‘Saudi’ photo set on Instagram were positive. People were surprised that the Kingdom would have sites as such, or let alone allow people to visit it. The misconceptions about Saudi is gradually decreasing with creatives like Scanu who show these things to the world.
