Todays’ Google Doodle Is Celebrating One Of Saudi Arabia’s Most Iconic Singers And Social Media Is Excited

The Google Doodle today is all sorts of musical nostalgia and reminding everybody of an incredible singer they grew up listening to.

Saudi Arabian singer Etab was one of the first female singers from the Gulf to perform publicly and it would have been her 70th birthday today.

Her career spanned over 45 years and 15 albums which were performed in her distinct style of mixing traditional and contemporary songs.

She was known as the ‘bird of happiness’
