Saudi Hospitals In Yemen Continue To Treat Thousands For Free Even In Houthi Controlled Areas
Saudi Arabia has been operating several hospitals in Yemen. The kingdom has also been the biggest financial aid contributor to Yemen. Just to give you an idea of the kind of work that Saudi backed hospitals do, Mohamed al-Jabir, the Saudi ambassador to Yemen posted a series of tweets that highlighted it.
Whats’s most significant were the accounts of two hospitals that operate in territory that is occupied by the Houthi rebels. Saudi Arabia pays for the staff salaries and operational costs of these hospitals.
The two hospitals that we’re talking about operate in Yemen’s Hajjah and Saada regions.
Al-Salam Hospital in #Saadah and the Saudi Hospital in #Hajjah are operating with Saudi support to: salaries, operation & maintenance, materials and medical equipment to support our brothers in #Yemen.

The World Health Organization country office of Yemen praised the efforts of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center on Twitter.
Al Jumhori hospital in Hajja is supported by WHO. It was provided with a lifesaving Oxygen station. The station covers 8 hospitals in Hajja governorate & works around the clock to produce 40 oxygen cylinders a day- saving the lives of people in #Yemen.

Al Jabir retweeted the WHO Yemen tweet with a comment that shows the continual aid that Saudi Arabia continues to provide even in Houthi controlled territory.

These aren’t the only hospitals that Saudi Arabia runs in Yemen, there are several functional and various others that are under construction like this one here.
