An investigation is ongoing to an attempted suicide that took place in Al Qasim this week.
The Saudi woman who attempted to commit suicide was saved by the police
The police located her on the third floor of a building still under construction in Al Qasim governorate as she tried to jump off the building.
There have been conflicting reports on what triggered the attempt – some sources state that she is a victim of domestic abuse while others have stated that she is suffering from mental health conditions.
She was referred to a local hospital for treatment and continues to be under monitoring.
