Discovered a new identity

José Ronaldo spent years healing others as a general and emergency doctor, then as an intensive care specialist. After fifteen years in medicine, he began to question his beliefs and explore different faiths. Eventually, he chose Islam, feeling it was the path that brought him the most peace. Choosing Saudi Arabia for its culture

Moved by the welcoming nature of Saudi society, Farouq decided to make the Kingdom his home. He explained that Saudi Arabia is the ‘land of Islam’ and praised its people for being social, kind, and genuinely friendly. The warmth he experienced made him feel instantly comfortable, and he quickly realized he had found a place where he truly belonged.

Feeling at home among new friends

Joined by a group of Saudi men in traditional attire, Farouq enjoyed lively gatherings under palm trees and twinkling lights. He shared that, although born in Brazil, he felt as if he was with family in Saudi Arabia. The camaraderie was clear as everyone shook hands, smiled, and shared delicious meals together. Farouq even changed his name and address back in Brazil, fully embracing his new identity and the hospitality of his Saudi hosts.
