This year, for the first time ever, streets of Riyadh are seeing people buying Santa Claus outfits, tinsel, and other ornaments from festive shops.

And it is an incredible example of the greater tolerance between faiths that is being instilled in the country

In recent years, festive sales have gradually been introduced into Riyadh, reflecting the process of social liberalization that began in 2016.
