2020 was a historically turbulent year for the whole world.
The coronavirus pandemic completely turned so many aspects of life completely upside down but Saudi Arabia has proved, time and time again, that it can take on any challenges.
A really major challenge for the government, for instance, was adjusting the G20 Summit (that Riyadh was hosting for the first time) to become an almost entirely virtual event. But it turned out to be a complete success and the small groups that did meet in person did it so seamlessly.

Doctors, nurses, and all other healthcare workers have been on the frontlines battling the pandemic and providing a sense of security to the rest of us. In addition, there has been the launch of the health services app, the full activation of the National Center for Crisis and Disaster Management and the inauguration of many, many specialized healthcare centers.
Plus, Saudi Arabia has approved a vaccine and has already vaccinated thousands of people and more are to follow!
