King Fahd University Is Now Opening Admissions To Women For The First Time Ever

Avatar

Saudi Arabia will soon fill the oil and gas industry’s talent gap with King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals opening admission to women.

This is the first time in the Kingdom’s history the university will be accepting female students

The oil and gas industry is in the need to deepen and diversify its pool and having more women in it just might be the way around.

Currently, women comprise only 15 percent of the oil and gas workforce

Saudi Arabia has been working on adopting a package of legislative reforms and introducing regulations and policies toward the advancement and empowerment of Saudi women, specifically in the areas of their mobility, workplace, entrepreneurship, and pensions.
