Just like in so many places around the world, sky-watching enthusiasts in Saudi Arabia made the most of the solar eclipse as they witnessed “ring of fire” earlier this week.
They brought with them special glasses, devices, and tools to capture the rare cosmic event.

The annular solar eclipse happens when the moon covers the Sun’s center, leaving the Sun’s visible outer edges to form a “ring of fire” or annulus around the moon and last took place 97 years back.
