Prince Khaled Is Now Part Of A Major Food Technology Challenge That Is Giving Away Millions To Solution-Finders

HRH Prince Khaled bin Alwaleed bin Talal Al Saud has been appointed to the Advisory Board for XPRIZE’s alternative protein food technology challenge dubbed: ‘Feed the Next Billion’.

The challenge seeks to use crowdsourced innovative technology to solve a global issue

Feed the Next Billion is about creating an alt protein that can replace traditional chicken breast or fish filet using any method, known or unknown.

Prince Khaled is the only Advisory Board member from the MENA region and is bringing his considerable expertise and professional background in food security, and sustainability to the table

The Feed the Next Billion Challenge is expected to run for four years guided on a monthly basis by the Advisory Board. Over the course of four years, awards will be given out at different stages totalling US$15 million of undiluted funding!
