Saudi Arabia Currently Ranks As The Fifth Biggest Contributor To Humanitarian Aid Globally
As so many parts of the world are currently trying to recover from conflicts or other forms of crisis, Saudi Arabia is continuing to support them.
Saudi Arabia has been ranked a global fifth, and first in the Arab world, for its provision of humanitarian aid
The Kingdom contributed more than SAR 4 billion towards the total amount of international spending on relief programs. (This makes up about 5.5% of the total!)
In Yemen, the Kingdom’s 2019 share of international humanitarian aid funding for the war-torn country amounted to 31.3 percent of the total aid the country received.
And the Kingdom intends to continue its support.
